What is Chrome plated plastic?

Is the process of turning plastic into a chrome coated surface, by applying a coating to the surface. This process is commonly used in manufacturing cars and bikes to reduce costs. This chrome plated plastic needs to be cared otherwise its coating can deteriorate with time and damage the surface.

How to Polish Chrome plated plastic?

Autosol M1 Polish for Chrome-plated Plastic is formulated to polish and remove scratches from synthetic chrome. Compared to the regular Autosol Metal Polish, M1 is non-abrasive; if you used regular Autosol, it would probably remove surface scratches on synthetic chrome, but would also abrade painted-on chrome. Just apply a small amount of this polish onto a cloth and polish the surface in circular motion until brilliant shine is achieved. Repeat this process if necessary.
